infinix zero flip unboxing

Must read

This is the Zero Flip – the first foldable from Infinix, which made its India debut just yesterday.

It comes with an unusual number of accessories – a USB-C cable, a two-piece case with a finger holster, a 70W charger, SIM tool, and USB-C earbuds.

First let’s talk about the design of the zero flip, because this is the most impressive part. Ours is the Rock Black model and there’s also a pink Blossom Glow version. The back panel has a sand-like texture – a pleasant finish with better tactility than your typical glossy panel – and it hides stains like a pro.

Then there are the hinges and edges. The Infinix logo is located front and center on the micro-crystal surrounded hinge, which Infinix has carved with a 0.15mm diamond tool. The frame is both satin-brushed and mirror-polished. All this hard work paid off and when you hold the Infinix Zero Flip you get a very premium and tight experience.

The cover features a 3.64-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,100 nits brightness. It’s quite capable – you can put most apps here and the phone will do its best to run them at full capacity. Those that are not optimized will show a warning but will usually still run as a mini version. The interface has its own notification shade and control center.

Being flip foldable, the Zero Flip invites you to take selfies with one of the 50MP main cameras. But the selfie camera inside also has a 50MP imager, PDAF and has its own flash, which you can also use as a video light.

Combine that with a functional cover screen for impressive design cues, a trio of 50 MP cameras, and an impressive list of specifications, and you’ve got a very capable package. The Zero Flip runs a 6nm Dimensity 8020 with 8GB of RAM, and has a large 4,720mAh battery with support for 70W wired charging and 10W wireless charging.

The folding display is a massive 6.9-inch canvas with LTPO 120Hz support technology and 1,400 nits brightness. It will cost you INR 54,999 ($655/€600). We will share more details on Infinix Zero Flip soon.
