After launching in China last month, the Infinix Zero Flip is set to launch in India on October 17. This launch is an important step for the company as the smartphone will enter the limited market of foldables. Infinix Zero Flip is expected to compete with Motorola Razr 50 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G. But the biggest expectation from this upcoming device will be its affordable price without compromising on features. As the launch gets closer, Infinix has confirmed some details. Let’s take a deeper look.

Infinix Zero Flip: Specs and features

The company has confirmed that the smartphone will have a 3.65-inch AMOLED cover screen. The glass is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It has also been revealed that the Infinix Zero Flip will have a 6.9-inch AMOLED internal display. Both the cover and the internal display have a 120Hz refresh rate. On the design front, the Infinix Zero Flip has a thin and sleek body with a thickness of 7.64 mm. According to the company, the phone is not only compact but also very light, its weight is 195 grams. It is designed to roll anywhere between 30 degrees to 150 degrees. The phone is available in two color options – Blossom Glow and Rock Black, offering users vibrant and concise design options.

The Infinix Zero Flip features a powerful dual-camera setup that houses a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS for still images and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens for detailed shots. Selfies are expected to be better with a 50-megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, ensuring high-quality footage. The teaser page also revealed that the camera will be equipped with several AI features, including eraser tool, portrait enhancer, focus, and AI-powered gallery.

Apart from these details, the company has not provided any other information. However, rumors have been doing the rounds ever since its launch in China. Infinix Zero Flip was first launched in select global markets including China. According to the company, it has a zero-gap hinge and has minimal screen crease, which enhances the durability and smoothness of the foldable display. The global launch revealed that the Infinix Zero Flip combines a compact form factor when folded, while opening up to reveal a large, immersive display, perfect for multitasking and entertainment. Looking at the details, it is expected that the Indian version will be very similar to the global version.

It is speculated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, and equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, including virtual RAM. The device also supports up to 512GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and files. These specifications make it a powerful option in the foldable smartphone market, offering high-end performance and an immersive display experience.

Infinix Zero Flip: Expected price

The variant of Infinix Zero Flip with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage has been priced at $600 (approximately Rs 50,000). But, it is estimated that the price of Infinix’s first flip phone in India will be less than Rs 45,000. This expectation is based on the pricing of its competitors. Motorola Razr 50 was launched at Rs 64,999, but currently during the sale period, the device is priced below Rs 50,000.
