After launching its first foldable, Infinix Zero Flip in November 2024, the company recently unveiled its first triple-folded smartphone as well as zero chain mini tri-folds. This announcement is a little ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, which starts from March 3 from March 6. Infinix highlighted that the concept of triple-folded smartphones is not a distant dream. While the launch and hardware details are not yet out, the company has demonstrated the double-hing and triple-folding mechanisms of the upcoming phone.

Infinix zero series mini triple-folded phone

Infinix has unveiled its concept phones, zero series mini, a three-folding device, designed to replace several gadgets with a single, versatile solution. The unique design of the phone involves a dual screen experience, when folded, enabling real -time multilingual conversations with the material displayed for both users.

The zero series mini also has a dual-camera setup on the back and a punch-hole camera inside to capture the selfie. A standout accessories of this are a special leash that allows the device to mounted on various surfaces including gym equipment, cycle handler and car dashboard. Additionally, the lease can be connected to a bag lease for easy portability.

While Infinix has not yet shared full specifications or details about the availability of the device, the company is expected to reveal more in the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 next week.

Triple-folded phone so far

For now, only Huawei has launched a triple-folded smartphone-Huawei Met XT. After launching the phone in September 2024, the company has also released a phone in the Global Market (not India, why read) in February 2025. After that, no OEM has launched a triple-foldable device. He said, Samsung has been dreaming about launch for a long time, but has failed to release it.

Samsung displayed the concept of its triple-folded design in 2023, but has not yet confirmed the launch. However, rumors and leaks have indicated that the company plans to release a triple-folded with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July.

Samsung Galaxy G Fold: What do we know

According to rumors, the upcoming Samsung Triple Folds will be called Galaxy G fold.

Details about Samsung’s upcoming three-folded smartphones are still limited, but an interesting principle suggests that it can give a large 12.4-inch display when it is fully revealed. This will make a versatile option for both smartphone and tablet, which crosses Huawei’s 10.2 -inch Met XT. Additionally, the device can partially offer unfolded mode with a 10.5 -inch screen, which can enhance the experience of viewing.

Another rumor indicates the absence of under-display camera technology. Although it can result in better front-faceing camera quality, it will require a hole-punchout on the main screen, which slightly affects the greasy design. However, this agreement may be worth it for better camera performance.

While the Samsung triple-folded launch is still months away, it seems that after Huawei, Infinix will be a runner up to release a triple-folded smartphone.
