In WWDC 2025, Apple set to revive iOS, software for other apple devices with solarium
Apple is hosting its WWDC 2025 on 9 June. During Keenote, the company is likely to unveil a major UI redesign dubbed solarium and will affect all Apple software, including iOS, iPados, Macos, and more.

Apple is gearing up for its Big Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2025), which is going to be from 9 June to 13 June. Now reports say that Apple will reveal the new design language for all its software, including iOS, which gives the iPhone strength in WWDC. It is estimated that Apple will introduce a new UI interface to feel more integrated and functional to iOS, iPados, Macos and other software.
According to the latest power of the newsletter by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is likely to start a new user interface to unite the visual experience in iOS, iPados, MACOS and other Apple operating systems. The “solarium” dubbed internal, this new UI is said to be a fresh design language inspired by Apple’s Visionos – its vision pro -headset used in software.
Gurman suggests that the new UI will bring a more immersive experience for users in the smooth view, better stability, and Apple’s ecosystem. Therefore, we can see the new design offering frosted glass effects, rounder square icons and floating UI elements a more leveled look.
It is worth noting that Apple has officially not extended the “solariam” redesign. However, the report around a major UI overhaul is revolving on the Internet for a while. The first leaks have mentioned a new UI, which offers more transparent icon designs. Now, Bloomberg also reported that the solarium interface allegedly takes its name from glass -surrounded sunlight space, indicating a lighter, more transported design philosophy.
Redigine will not be limited to mobile and desktop platforms just. The views updates will also be received by the looks of TVOS and Watches probably bringing close to the look and feel of the iOS 19 and Macos 16. Meanwhile, Visionos is expected to see some purification.
The interface overhaul is allegedly one of the three major subjects in WWDC 2025. The other two possibilities include rolouts of new Apple Intelligence features and significant growth on iPados 19, which focused renewed on multitasking and productivity, as Gurman had earlier suggested.
Apple will start WWDC 2025 with a keynote speaker on 9 June. The event will be live on PDT at 10 am which is 10:30 PM IST. The company will stream Apple’s website, Apple TV app and its WWDC 2025 event Live on its YouTube channel.
