Actor Suria was recently seen in Hyderabad, and this time, he was not alone. In a rare public vision, the Tamil star was seen with his daughter Diya, a lot for the pleasure of fans. The actor is in the city to start work on his upcoming film, titled ‘Suriya 46’, directed by Venki Ataluri. Diya went on a trip with her father, making all the special appearance to the actor and his family followers.

Diya, who has recently graduated from High School in Mumbai, is rarely seen publicly with her famous parents, Suriya and Jyothika. Therefore, fans were in a hurry to take notice when images and videos of father-daughter pair came out online from Hyderabad Airport. Suriya kept it accidental in a gray T-shirt, while Diya sports a blue dress and went next to her father.

Surya, who reached Hyderabad on Sunday, attended the wedding reception of Nagarjuna’s younger sons Akhil Akineni and Zainab Raojani. However, Diya did not with him with the incident. The actor participated in the celebration with Venky Ataluri and was seen presenting the couple for paintings with the newlyweds, increasing their wishes.

On the work front, Suria was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Retro’, directed by Karthik Subbej. The film also starred in Pooja Hegde, Jujo George, Jairam, Prakash Raj and Vidya. Manufactured by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment, ‘Retro’ grossed over Rs 80 crore worldwide. Despite its high expectations before its release, the film faced a mixed word-mouth and strict competition from other new release, eventually distributed to a decent box office performance.

After completing ‘Retro’, the actor has noded two more projects, which are yet to be titled. He has already started shooting for a film with RJ Balaji, which also has Trisha Krishnan. Meanwhile, his cooperation with Venky Ataluri is expected to go on the floor on Monday, June 9, under the title ‘Suriya 46’. The film also stars Mamita Baiju, in which music is composed by GV Prakash.
