Recently, the director talked about the challenges he faced during the shoot, especially highlighting the time when there were no vanity vans on the sets. She shared how difficult it was for Alia to manage basic things like changing clothes or going to the washroom in unusual places during the shoot.
Participating in a panel discussion at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, Imtiaz Ali shared that there were three such instances in his life when he had to send crew members back from different sets. He expressed satisfaction that this happened only three times.
A similar incident happened on the sets of Highway, where he was filming on a rural highway with Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt in 2013. At that time, there were no proper vanity vans, and Alia had to change locations as nature intended. In unusual places.
