While millions of fans of the reality show were rooting for her to move forward and win big, Manikanta instead decided to eliminate herself in the seventh week itself. And recently the actor revealed about taking such a big step.
Right after leaving the BB Telugu 8 house, Naga Manikanta sat down for a candid interview with the media and expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the people who loved her immensely and voted for her. However, he stressed that his exit from the show was inevitable as he wanted to focus on his health first and foremost.
Manikanta said, “Love you all. I didn’t expect so much love. It is your love that has brought me here. I’m sorry to vent but it’s important to take care of your health. I thank the audience for giving me life.”
Apart from this, the former contestant also addressed the special gesture of his estranged wife Priya, who sent him a letter inside the BB house. Let us tell you, during the show, the social media star had admitted that due to some of his mistakes, his wife and two-year-old daughter are away from him.
Coming back to his revelation, Naga Manikanta expressed happiness and surprise at the fact that his wife Priya decided to write him a letter.
Describing it as his first love letter, he said, “I am very happy that Priya wrote to me.” This was the first love letter of my life. I am very happy that my love letter arrived from my wife. She is not here because she cannot come to meet me with her child. I can’t expect that here.”
For those unaware, millions of viewers and fans of the Nagarjuna Akkineni hosted show were quite against Naga Manikanta’s decision to evict herself. Although the actor initially entered the show with minimal expectations of getting anywhere, he actually got himself nominated by every housemate in the first week itself.
However, with time, during her stay inside the BB house, Naga Manikanta gained attention with the heartfelt confessions she made about her personal life inside the show.
For example, he once mentioned that doing BB Telugu 8 was one of the ways he could get his whole life back and it was important to him professionally and personally.
