Vijay Sethupathi stepped into the shoes of Kamal Haasan to host Bigg Boss Tamil 8 this year. While viewers are loving her raw screen presence on the reality TV show, a former contestant has made some shocking revelations about her which has created a controversy. According to News18, during a recent interview, Dharsha Gupta made serious allegations against the Maharaja actor.
Dharsha Gupta was quoted by the publication as saying, “Vijay Sethupathi often doesn’t let anyone speak and constantly insults them. I feel scared to talk to him.” Reports suggest that the actress had made bold comments about the female contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. His words did not go down well with the host and he criticized him for speaking so poorly. Dhara’s statements about the host are now being seen as a response to his previous criticism.
Let us tell you, Dharsha Gupta was evicted during the third week of Bigg Boss Tamil 8. Her eviction from the reality show received mixed reactions from viewers.
After their eviction, Vijay Sethupathi introduced six new contestants into the house. The wildcard contestants who joined the show last week were Nagapriya, Raanav, Varshini Venkat, Manjari, Shiv Kumar and Ryan.
Nagapriya, also known as Rhea, is an aspiring actress and professional supermodel, while Raanav is a junior actor who has previously worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Iraivi. Varshini Venkat is an actress and fitness enthusiast, Manjari is known as a debate speaker and news reader, Shiva Kumar is the husband of former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Sujatha, and Ryan is a famous actor and model.
After Dhara’s elimination, 15 contestants were left in Bigg Boss Tamil 8. However, with the entry of new housemates, the total number has increased to 21.
While there was no elimination in the BB house last weekend, this time there is tension looming over the contestants present in the danger zone. This year the theme of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 is Men vs Women. The game of survival on the show is becoming more intense with each passing day as the contestants have their eyes on the trophy as well as the cash prize.
