After the massive success of Ajayante Random Motionam, Tovino Thomas is all set to return to the silver screen with the much-awaited action thriller Identity. Directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Vinay Rai in important roles. The trailer of the film has finally been released, and it promises a story full of suspense and everything challenging.
Tovino Thomas posted a link to the Identity trailer on X (formerly Twitter). The video begins with a reference to an elusive criminal who has to be discovered based on the various characters’ lucid memories, while Tovino is tasked with connecting the dots of these clues to produce a sketch of the criminal.

Apart from Tovino, it is Trisha Krishnan’s brilliant performance that shines above all, conveying the feelings of fear, mystery and suspense. Vinay Rai also promises a promising role in the action film.
The trailer also features a stellar presence of Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi, keeping the audience curious about her mysterious yet entertaining role.
Furthermore, the presence of high-octane sequences, which include car crashes and chase scenes, in-flight action scenes, fire clips and gloomy background scores above all add to the entire thrilling experience.
For the undisclosed, the film is eyeing a theatrical release on January 2, 2025. It is financed under Sri Gokulam Movies, while the music is handled by Jake Bejoy.
Identity also marks the on-screen reunion of actors Trisha and Tovino once again, after their last release in 2020 titled Forensic.
Their chemistry in the previous project was highly appreciated, which has raised hopes that once again their pair will shine on the screen.
On the work front, one of Tovino Thomas’ upcoming projects is the film L2: Empuran.
