The mind behind blockbusters like director Lokesh Kanagarj, ‘Kathy’, ‘Vikram’, and ‘Leo’ revealed that his personal priority lies in search of Thalapati Vijay’s character’s arc in Master (2021) instead of ‘Leo’ (2023).

In a recent interview with film critic Sudhir Srinivasan, he said, “Only time can tell, and Vijay Anna has to decide. We can bring him to a cameo, but I want to ‘master’ with him. Everyone is waiting for ‘Leo 2’, but I want to do ‘Master’ with him.”

Explaining this further, Lokesh said, “I think there is a part of the story that remains untold. It is in the first one without any conclusion. I just want to do that film. I personally like JD’s vibe very much. ‘Leo’ is a strong character. ‘

With the hope of entering politics after his upcoming film ‘Jan Nayagan’, Vijay, it remains to be seen whether there will be either sequel in the sequel.

Sharing his roadmap for LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe), Lokesh said, “After ‘Coolie’, I will start with ‘Kathy 2’. I will also have to do ‘Vikram 2’ with Kamal Sir, but I have not yet finished writing it.

Meanwhile, Lokesh’s upcoming film ‘Coolie’ is set to hit theaters on 14 August. On May 6, a 100-day vomiting promo was released. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Saubin Shahir, Satyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, a special song by Pooja Hegde and a cameo by Aamir Khan. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichender.
