Actress Harshali Malhotra has talked about the physical and emotional challenges she faced while shooting for Akhanda 2. He highlighted his illness and the demands of shooting the river during the monsoon season.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Harshaali Malhotra recently shared details about the challenging situations she faced while shooting a Telugu film. Akhand 2The 17-year-old revealed that she faced significant health challenges during the shoot, including high fever, cold and cough,

He explained how some emotionally heavy scenes were shot over 5-6 days, mostly inside the Godavari River during the monsoon, with heavy rains and water up to his thigh. Despite her illness and challenging situation, Harshali said that the atmosphere on the set felt relaxing and encouraging.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video on Instagram, Harshaali wrote, “Just sitting and reminiscing about these days, thought I’d share this little BTS video. Shooting these scenes was intense, but the experience itself was beautiful because of the people around.”

Elaborating on his challenges, the actor wrote, “I was suffering from viral 103 degree fever, cold and cough and yet, I never felt alone on the set. There were restless, sleepless nights and days that were physically exhausting, but from checking on me in between to quietly making sure I was okay, the care really stayed with me.”

Giving details about the shoot inside the river, she said, “These scenes were shot over 5-6 days, mostly inside the Godavari river during monsoon, when it was raining and the water was up to my thighs. Emotionally heavy scenes, tiring days, swollen eyes, but constant support behind the camera.”

The 17-year-old concluded her thoughts by saying, “What I will remember most is not just the view, but also how I felt cared for and supported. So grateful for this experience and everyone who made it possible.”

Part 2: ThandavamDirected by Boyapati Srinu, it also stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyuktha Menen and Aadhi Pinisetty. Released on December 12, 2025, the fantasy action thriller serves as the sequel to the 2021 film Akhand and has received mixed reviews from critics.
