Bollywood and television veteran Aruna Irani recently shared that he chooses to keep the diagnosis private, not once, but twice in breast cancer. In an interview recently, the actor shared about health challenges, including cancer relayPs and diabetes diagnosis, while continuing his brilliant career in film and television.
Aruna shared that she first discovered the disease in 2015, “I thought something was wrong,” the actor remembered. The doctors initially stressed the removal of it from surgery instead of undergoing chemotherapy despite assuring him that the knot was modest.

Kovid -19 had breast cancer in 2020, just before the 19 epidemic. However, this time the actor decided to undergo chemotherapy. “It was my fault to not take chemo for the first time,” he accepted.
Additionally, Aruna also came to know about diabetes at the age of 60. Her health faced another important challenge when doctors warned her about the risk of kidney failure. Nevertheless, she remained strong, dedicating herself to recovery and holding a mental mentality.
Aruna Irani began his journey in cinema as a child actor in ‘Ganga Jumna’ (1961) and became one of the most vigorous artists of Indian cinema. While appearing in more than 500 films in Hindi, Marathi, Kannada and Gujarati languages, he established himself through a wide range of roles in films like ‘Anapada’, ‘Caravan’, ‘Beeta’, and ‘Bombay to Goa’.
