Recently a man took to social media to share his experience at a wedding party where there wasn’t enough food for all the guests. According to the Reddit post, around 70 people were invited to the wedding on July 20, 2024. The man who wrote the post claims that he is a friend of the groom and attended the wedding with his wife. Initially, everything was going well and the guests were enjoying the wedding reception, which had an open bar. However, when it came to the buffet, the happy party began to fade.
In the post, the person shared that when it was time to eat, “there were a few tables being called at a time which is fine.” He added that the food “looked really good” but it wasn’t enough. According to the post, the food that was first served to the newlyweds’ close family members was eaten a second time while the rest of the guests were still waiting for their food.

“To my surprise, when we were called there was nothing left, I asked if there was anything left and apparently there wasn’t any. So we grabbed what little we had and sat back and began eating the leftovers. We were all still quite hungry,” the guest wrote.

They then decided to order some food for themselves. “We all together ordered 4 large pizzas and some chicken wings from a local pizza joint close to the venue so that the delivery wouldn’t take too long. I met the person outside and brought the food to our table and we started eating,” the guest added.
Several other hungry guests became curious after seeing the pizza and this led to a ruckus at the wedding. “My friend came to talk to me about why I ordered food, his bride was not happy with it,” the post further said, adding that the groom “went back to his bride who was staring at us. What were we supposed to do, be hungry?”

Later, the guest argued over the food arrangements and was asked to leave. In a later update, the guest shared that the bride was apologetic and was actually angry with her family for not arranging proper food. He said that the family will hold another party to compensate for the earlier mess and now there will be “50 large pizzas from the same place.”
