Huge box office collection: Ranveer Singh starrer closes US$30 million overseas, close to Rs 1200 crore worldwide

Dhurandhar is close to the US$30 million mark at the overseas box office. As of yesterday, the Ranveer Singh starrer has grossed US$29.40 million (Rs 263 crore) internationally. Although the film is clearly in the final stages of its run, the collections remain remarkably strong. It is expected to bring in around US$900K in the ongoing sixth week, which is nothing short of phenomenal at this stage and perfectly sums up the kind of fun the film has enjoyed overseas. There are likely still another million to come, bringing the film to a potential lifetime total of US$30.25–30.5 million.

Combined with Rs. With earnings of approximately Rs 919 crore from India, the film’s worldwide box office earnings stood at Rs. Approximately 1182 crores. It is the second biggest Bollywood film of all time after Dangal. It comes in sixth place among Indian films, although it will soon overtake KGF Chapter 2 and enter the top five.

In the regular overseas market, Dhurandhar would be the third highest-grossing Bollywood film after Jawan and Pathan, both of which grossed approximately US$48 million. In the United Kingdom, it is currently the fourth highest-grossing film of all time. It has also performed well in smaller markets, surpassing the Pathan in regions such as Thailand and Hong Kong. While conversions have recently become a common practice in the industry, some distributors still report the numbers, which makes sense because a) bigger numbers are better and b) there are no fixed reporting standards that require conversion to Canadian grosses.

The film has grossed 7.51 million Canadian dollars in Canada; Taking it as it is, the total overseas earnings will be US$31.46 million. The equivalent numbers for Pathan and Jawan are US$49.2 million and US$49.60 million respectively.
