Actor Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR have officially shot for ‘War 2’, which is the much awaited sequel for the 2019 blockbuster ‘War’. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee and acting by Kiara Advani, the film is part of the expansion of the YRF Spy Universe and is slang to hit theaters on 14 August 2025. With 150 days of filming in five countries and six major action sequences, ‘War 2’ promises to be a grand cinematic spectacle.
Hrithik Roshan, who played the role of raw agent Major Kabir Dhaliwal, shared an emotional post on X to mark the rap. “Feeling a mixed bag of emotions because the cameras stopped rolling for #War2. 149 days of tireless pursuit, action, dance, blood, sweating, injuries, injuries … and it was all worth it.
The actor said, “For the entire artists and crew of War 2Thank you for sharing your talent and giving it every day. Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘War 2′ is part of the studios’ studio’s growing detective franchise, already included Salman Khan’s’ Tiger ‘films, Shah Rukh Khan’s’ Pathan’ and the upcoming ‘Alpha’ Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, which will aim to catch the Pan-India audience.
