Taylor Swift’s new book about the massively successful Erasure Tour gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to put the show together. The singer’s tour set lasted 3 hours, with the singer performing the biggest hits from each of her albums, so when she released Tortured Poets’ Department ‘halfway through’ her show, fans wondered whether her concerts would New songs will be added. She finally got her answer at Swift’s Paris show, when the singer debuted her TTPD onstage.
In the recently released Eraz Tour book, the 34-year-old reveals how she and her crew pull it off. He wrote, “We conceived it and rehearsed it in secret, and surprised the Paris crowd when we began our European leg of the tour.” Swifties will know that unlike some of her other records, the aesthetic of the songs on her latest album was muted and minimalistic. To match that, Taylor Swift wanted the vibe of her newly added track to be “minimal, white, clean and bold”. This black and white theme made it completely different from the rest of the show, which was full of colors.
“There was nothing else like it on the show, and it was an exciting challenge to try to improve on a show I already loved,” the Fortnite singer revealed. She said she wanted to match the vibe of her album, explaining that she wanted to “create the illusion of an alien abduction, a war scene, a religious institution, a mental institution, a haunted house and a showgirl’s dressing room routine. Wanted.”
Taylor is 3 shows away from the end of her over a year-long Eraz Tour, and it’s safe to say that the Bejeweled singer fulfilled Swifties’ dream of seeing her TTPD hits live on stage.
