By Sajid Nadidwala, Housefull 5 hit a big screen on 6 June, 2025. The film, an artist contingent and campaign in the film, according to Akshay Kumar, Ritish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Ferdin Khan, Jackie Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Narjis, and news, it is one of the most expensive comedy films ever in Indian cinema.

As Comedy Capper is getting mixed reviews, let us reach the story and climax. Since Housefull 5 has been released in two versions, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B, this explanation post will help you understand everything that happened in the previous version.

Housefull 5A Story

The A version of Housefull 5 follows Ranjit Dobril, which is a billionaire of 69 billion pounds. Interestingly, he dies a natural death a day before celebrating his 100th birthday, and this occurs when anarchy begins. However, his half -son, Dev (played by Ferdin Khan), hides the tragic incident as he wants the party to move forward.

While things are normally moving forward, a hologram of Ranjit brings a new twist to the story. Revealing who would actually be the successor of his empire and wealth, mentions that his fate will go to his first son (Jolly) from his first wife. And then ‘Jolly’ kicks in the game.

Ritish Deshmukh as Jalabuddin (Jolly 1), Abhishek Bachchan in the form of Maafushan (Jolly 2), and Akshay Kumar as Julius (Jolly 3) are desperate to prove the wealth of Akshay Kumar Ranze as a real jolly. Therefore, Dev is planning a DNA testing for three suspected Jolly on a grand cruise. Although all three know that they are not Ranjit’s sons, they all participate in the game for money.

Housefull 5A Ending explained: Spiiler Alert

As the story goes ahead, the last pasta (Chunky Pandey) spikes the drink for Batuk Patel (Johnny Lever), but finally, Jollyis consumed it during the deck party. This is why they wake up with no memory of the previous night.

It is at night that Dev tries to change the DNA of three Jolly because he wanted all the money of Ranjit and did not want 3 to be with Jolly. But the doctor caught him doing so. To avoid exposing, Dev puts peanut butter biscuits in the doctor’s mouth, as the latter is allergic to it. However, Jolly 3 (Akshay Kumar) saves a doctor’s life using an injection. When Jolly leaves the 3 scene, Dev stabs and kills the doctor, but Sameer (played by Nikitin Dhair), the captain of the ship, Dev sees doing so.

Jolly and his companions (Sonam Bajwa, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nargis Fakhri) become prominent suspects. Even Ranjit’s team, including Maya (Chitrangra Singh), Bedi (Dino Moriya), Shiraz (Shreyas Talpade), Lucy (Soundarya Sharma), Batuk Patel (Johnny Lever), and others. The expelled London police Bhishu (Sanjay Dutt) and Baba (Jackie Shroff) arrive at the cruise for investigation.

Among them are Sameer (Nikitin Dher), who is one of the suspects in the murder case, and therefore worried about cleaning their image. This is why he could not tell everyone the truth.

Finally, Dev formed a team with Jolly 1 to kill captain Sameer. It manifests Dev as a killer.
