Actress and Bigg Boss 16 fame Soundarya Sharma opened up about her journey in the film industry, revealing that though she has no “godfather” to rely on, she has a “godsister” who supported her all the way. Speaking exclusively to India Today Digital, Soundarya candidly said, “I don’t have a godfather, but I have a godsister in the industry, and that’s Wardha Khan Nadiadwala.”

Sharing how he bagged a role in Housefull 5, the 30-year-old actor said, “For this, I am really grateful to my godsister Vardha. I am very thankful and grateful to her for believing in me because when You do Big Boss or any other thing, like I have done an advertisement, it does not necessarily translate into work in mainstream cinema, no contestant or actor has got the lead role immediately, in some cases; “Maybe, but it’s rare.”

Soundarya had danced on the songs of Housefull (2010) in her childhood and now she is happy to be a part of this franchise. Talking about her first reaction when she was offered Housefull 5, Soundarya revealed, “I was crying; I was trembling.
