The number of Housefull 5 is the second largest for a Housefull series film. However, this does not mean that this record is unexpected for inflation. The film’s possibility is the franchise’s lowest -grossing film, if the number of other houseful films is adjusted for inflation.
The inauguration of Housefull 5 was quite good, with Akshay Kumar’s 4th largest opener in India, Mission Mangal, Sorvanshi and Gold became behind. It was his largest non-holiday opener as a leading hero. In the weekend of the holiday, the film managed to invest a strong rupee of Rs 79 crore. Even though the performance of Housefull 5 is average, it goes without saying that manufacturers should focus on more IP powered films. Despite its mixed reception, Housefull 5 is Akshay Kumar’s second largest post-pandemic grosser. The actor had a dress comedy like sports sports Pisces last year, but it failed to make a mark as it was not operated by the franchise value. The film found a good word in the mouth, but it did not bother the scorers much, due to which its run was below Rs 50 crore.

Akshay Kumar is now preparing for a group of upcoming films. The lineup includes Jolly LLB 3, Welcome to the Jungle, Bhut Bungalow and Havan. Unconfirmed films are OMG 3 and a film directed by Ajay Devgan.
