Housefull 5 Box Office Day 9: Akshay Kumar’s comedy is strong in theaters

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 5’ continues to draw crowds even in its second week. A star-staded artists, including Abhishek Bachchan, Ritish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez and Soundaria Sharma, are specialized, the film has maintained its strong box office pace. Given the successful runs in theaters, the film has earned Rs 142.25 crore in India in nine days.
While many films lose speed by their second weekend, ‘Housefull 5’ promoted the trend by gaining momentum. According to initial estimates, the film earned around Rs 9 crore in India on its second Saturday, making its total domestic collection to around Rs 142.25 crore. Earlier, it was recorded for Rs 127.25 crore during its first week and added another 6 crore rupees on its second Friday.

Even in its second week, Multi-starrer entertainer continues to attract the audience. The film crossed the 16.39 per cent overall occupation of 20 per cent with the afternoon and evening. Interestingly, it is doing exceptionally well in Chennai, where the occupancy reached 29.67 percent while crossing Mumbai and Delhi.
