Honor kicked off MWC 2026 by announcing its latest foldable – the Magic V6. This is a milestone not only for Honor but for foldables in general, being the first to sport IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. And it is a proper flagship, equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, triple cameras with a dedicated 3x optical zoom periscope, and an advanced 6,660mAh Si-C battery.

From an engineering perspective, this is Honor’s strongest foldable yet. It features a new Super Steel hinge made from the strongest steel commercially available, and has been tested up to 500,000 times and exposed in Honor’s internal laboratories.

Even with the upgraded durability, the Magic V6 is still remarkably thin and light. It measures 8.75mm when folded, which is exactly the same as the iPhone 17 Pro Max, while the white model weighs less than 219 grams. The Magic V6 is only 4 mm thin when unfolded.

The Magic V6 gets a 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED with 2,172 x 2,352px resolution and 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. It features a reinforced ultra-thin glass (UTG) layer and a 44% reduction in crease depth, making it less noticeable than previous generations. Honor has also added a new anti-reflection layer for better legibility. Its maximum local brightness is now rated at up to 5,000 nits.

The cover screen comes in at 6.52 inches with the same LTPO 2.0 variable 1-120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and 6,000 nits peak local brightness. Both the cover and the main display support stylus input and have 20MP selfie cameras.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset inside the Magic V6 is coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the back, Honor is bringing a familiar triple camera setup with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.6 aperture and OIS. This is paired with a 70mm equivalent 64MP periscope telephoto lens (1/2″ sensor) capable of 3x optical zoom. The third lens on the rear is a 50MP ultrawide.

On the software front, the Magic V6 comes with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, with Honor promising 7 major Android upgrades. Honor is also bringing updated cross-platform capabilities with Apple devices. Honor Connect now supports two-way notification syncing between the Magic V6 and iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices.
