Today, Honor is bringing the Magic7 Pro and Magic7 Lite to the global market, starting with European buyers.
The flagship Magic7 Pro was announced for China in late October, while the Magic7 Lite went global a few weeks ago.
Honor Magic7 Pro
Let’s start with Magic7 Pro. It features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a 5,270mAh battery with 100W wired and wireless charging. This is a difference from the Chinese model, which has a 5,850mAh power pack. The Global Magic7 Pro also sees a reduction in capacity compared to its predecessor, which featured a 5,600mAh battery.
The differences with the Chinese model end there, and the camera system is the same state-of-the-art affair. The main camera has the same 50MP 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 23mm lens and two-step f/1.4-f/2.0 variable aperture.
The zoom camera’s specs include a 200MP 3x periscope with a 69mm f/2.6 lens and a 1/1.4-inch sensor size worthy of main cameras from some brands. The final rear camera is a 50MP 1/2.88-inch ultrawide with macro capabilities.
There is another 50MP sensor upfront for the selfie camera. It sits side-by-side in a pill-shaped notch with a 3D camera for facial scanning. There is also an ultrasonic fingerprint below the display.
Talking about Honor Magic7 Pro, it has a 6.8-inch 1280x2800px LTPO AMOLED with 1-120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits global brightness. HDR brightness goes up to 5,000 nits and there’s high-frequency PWM dimming (4,320 MHz). The screen glass is micro quad curved on all sides.
The Magic7 Pro is IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water (as well as hot water jets), so you should feel relatively safe with it.
The Magic7 Pro runs MagicOS 9.0 on top of Android 15 and all the AI smarts you can think of. Honor’s Magic Portal with circle-to-search, AI inside Honor Notes, AI translation and Gemini is on top.
Move on to Magic7 Lite. It features a 6.78-inch 1224x2700px 120Hz AMOLED, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip with 8GB of RAM, and a powerful 6,600mAh battery with 66W charging.
There’s a 108MP main camera and a 5MP ultrawide camera on the back, and a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
