Introduction
The Honor 200 trio were launched in China some time ago, but now we are welcoming the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro, along with the Honor 200 Lite to the global markets. Today, we have the Honor 200 Pro for review, which looks too good to be called a China-only exclusive.
The Honor 200 Pro comes just six months after the Honor 100 Pro, which came just six months after the 90 Pro. Here in Europe, Honor only had the vanilla Honor 90 available, so the 200 Pro should be a worthwhile update.
The new Honor 200 Pro comes with a new chipset, brighter display, and new sensors for the primary and telephoto cameras. It also has an IP65 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
The Honor 200 Pro sports a premium 6.78-inch OLED panel with 1224p resolution, 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and a small pill-shaped notch. The phone runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with plenty of RAM and storage.
The camera kit is the most interesting aspect of the Honor 200 Pro. There are three imagers on the back – a 50MP primary with a new custom large sensor, a 50MP 2.5x telephoto and a 12MP AF ultrawide. Portrait selfies are also very important to Honor, and that’s why the front setup has a 50MP camera along with a 2MP depth sensor.
The entire specification is completed by a 5,200mAh battery, which is capable of 100W wired, 66W wireless, and even reverse wireless charging.

Both the Honor 90 Pro and 100 Pro use the latest most powerful chipset from Qualcomm, while the 200 Pro comes with the more streamlined “S” version of the Gen 3. This is certainly strange, especially considering that the 8s Gen 3 is supposed to be less powerful than the 8 Gen 2 inside the Honor 100 Pro. We’ll definitely find out in our performance section.
Apart from this feature, we feel that this phone is not lacking anything. Let’s unbox it now!
