Director Tilash asked me if we could add a high moment to the climax, either with me or in a cameo with another actor. As we were building ‘Hit’ Universe, it seemed like a brilliant opportunity to another actor.
He explained that, as a manufacturer, he felt responsible for the project and agreed to play cameo as Arjun Sarkar. Despite not planning a third film due to her lineup, Nani was able to fit the film into her schedule, when another project delayed exposed the difference of seven months. He said, “Selesh was telling me that he had a legend point, and when I heard it, I liked it. So, we started working on it,” he said.
When the trailer was released, fans quickly compared ‘Hit 3’ and other recent violent filmsWith Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘animal’ and Unni Mukundan’s ‘Marco’. However, Nani was traveling a distance of ‘Hit 3’ from these films. At the trailer launch event, he clarified, “I don’t think ‘Hit 3’ should be placed in the same bracket as ‘animal’, ‘Kill’, or ‘Marco’. It follows a different grammar. Once you watch the film completely, everything will look so natural that violence will not be out.”
