Hina Khan shared an appreciation post for her mother on Instagram today, July 13. Along with a few pictures with her mother, she revealed how her mother remained her support despite her grief after the actress’ breast cancer diagnosis.

Hina Khan wrote, “A mother’s heart can drink up an ocean of grief and pain to provide shelter, love and comfort to her children. It was the day she got the news of my diagnosis, the shock she felt was indescribable but she found a way to hold me and forget her pain. A superpower that mothers always excel at. Even as her world was falling apart, she still found a way to shelter me in her arms and give me strength.”
