Hina Khan has resumed shooting after her cancer diagnosis. The actress, who is suffering from stage 3 breast cancer, was spotted getting ready for her first assignment after her first chemo session. Her team was seen carefully hiding the stitches on her neck with tape on her shirt.

Hina Khan in her note urged everyone to normalise work during cancer treatment. She wrote, “My first work assignment after my diagnosis. It’s challenging to follow through on your word, especially when faced with life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself some slack on the bad days; it’s okay you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how short they may be. These days are still important. Accept change, embrace difference and make it normal.”

She further added, “I wait for the good days because I get to do what I love: work. I love my job. I live my dreams when I work and that is my biggest motivation. I want to keep working. Many people do regular jobs during their treatment without any problems and I am no different. I met some people in these months and believe me, it changed my perspective.”

She further wrote, “For your information, I am undergoing treatment, but I am not always in the hospital… so I would like to tell all of you to keep work normal and if you have the strength and energy, then do what makes you happy.”

She concluded her note with, “And for all you beautiful people out there battling this disease, remember, this is your story; it’s your life. You decide what to make of it. Don’t give up and find what you love to do. Your work, your passion – if you don’t know what it is, invent it. But remember to give yourself the treatment you deserve. Because doing what you love is also treatment. Accept it, embrace it and make it normal.”
