Lawrence Bishnoi gang threatened Himanshi Khurana, made extortion bid of Rs 10 crore!

After Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh, a fresh threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has put actor Himanshi Khurana under tight police security. The actor has reportedly received an extortion call of Rs 10 crore, following which authorities in Punjab have been asked to take swift action and tighten his security.

According to police sources, the threat call came from Chandigarh and was allegedly from gangster Harry Boxer, who is considered to be the key operator of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang operating from abroad. The caller not only demanded money but also threatened Khurana’s safety, prompting the immediate intervention of law enforcement.

Confirming the development, Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Harmandeep Hans said that information has been received and a first information report will be filed. Police officials said that as a precautionary measure, surveillance has been increased around the actress.

This is not an isolated incident. Members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have repeatedly targeted celebrities from the film and music industries in recent months, raising serious concerns over the safety of high-profile celebrities.

Earlier this year, singer B Praak also allegedly received a threat call, while his colleague Dilnur was allegedly targeted by gang members. These incidents highlight a growing pattern of bullying targeting celebrities.

In a separate but related development, a man calling himself Hari Boxer recently released an audio message threatening actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty. In the recording, the speaker warned of violent consequences if his demands were not met and claimed to have detailed information about his employees and associates.

The audio message, addressed to what the speaker said was “the entire Bollywood”, also reiterated earlier threats against people associated with Salman Khan, saying that anyone collaborating with him would be targeted.

Security agencies are on alert amid threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, even as police are investigating the origin and authenticity of the calls. At the moment, Himanshi Khurana’s case has once again highlighted the insecurity of public figures and the growing challenge by organized crime networks targeting the entertainment industry.
