Pax Jolie-Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who crashed his e-bike during a traffic stop in Los Angeles on July 29, is “doing fine” a month after the accident, according to a People source. “It’s been a few weeks since the accident, but he’s still recovering and receiving treatment,” the source said.
Pax, 20, was hospitalized after his bike collided with a car on Los Feliz Boulevard at 5 p.m. He reportedly suffered head injuries at the time because he wasn’t wearing a helmet. A week later, a source told People that Pax was doing well but that he would have a long recovery period after being discharged from the ICU.
A separate source gave the outlet insight into Jolie’s reaction to the mistake, telling the outlet that the actress was distraught when she received the call about the accident, and added that her other kids were helping Pax recover as much as they could.
Meanwhile, Pitt has been getting updates on Pax despite being estranged from his adult children, a source told People earlier this month. “He hasn’t had any contact with Pax in years, but he still cares very much,” the source added.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in mid-August, Jolie confirmed that Pax was recovering from the accident but declined to provide further details.

However, she revealed how Pax and his older brother Maddox worked with the team on her film Mariah, which received an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 29.
Expressing gratitude for her children’s presence on the set of Maria, Jolie told THR that her sons would hug her or bring her a cup of tea in between heavy scenes, and that it “really meant a lot” to her. “Usually, when I express so much pain, it’s not in front of my kids. You really try to hide from your kids how much pain and sadness you have,” the actress said, adding, “So to be with them when you’re expressing it on that level, I think it was the first time they’ve ever heard me cry like that.”
According to the actress, Pax is good at stills and his talent did not go unnoticed by Maria’s director Pablo LarraÃn. For those who don’t know, the film is based on the life of opera singer Maria Callas.
In addition to Maddox and Pax, Angelina Jolie shares Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, and Knox with Pitt.
