Hema Malini cried in the prayer meeting remembering Dharmendra and her true love.

Actress and politician Hema Malini, along with her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, organized a prayer meeting in New Delhi on Thursday to honor the memory of her late husband, actor Dharmendra, who died on November 24. Malini, who appeared on stage with her daughter, gave an emotional speech at the prayer meeting. She talked about her life with Dharmendra, remembering their partnership and “true love”.
The 77-year-old emphasized the strength of their relationship and the support they have given each other throughout their lives. He expressed his gratitude for the love and stability it brought to his family during challenging times. During the event, the actor shared, “The friend with whom I played love in many films became my life partner. Our love was true, so we had the courage to face any situation.We got married and he became a devoted husband to me, He was a pillar of support and stood by me at every step of my life,”
The gathering provided a platform for Hema Malini to describe Dharmendra’s lasting impact on her family. She noted his deep involvement in his daughters’ lives and the joy he took in seeing their achievements. Isha and Ahana remain central figures in the family, and Hema Malini talked about the unity between them even after Dharmendra’s demise.
In her address, Malini said, “He always supported my decisions. My two daughters, Isha and Ahana, became his biggest strength. He loved them dearly and saw them happily married. Our five grandchildren also loved him, and he was always happy to spend time with them. He would often ask me to take care of this family.”
