The trailer of the upcoming family-Drama ‘Heer Express’ of debutant actor Divita Juneja was released on Tuesday. The film describes the journey of an aspiring young chef, which moves towards the United Kingdom (UK), to fulfill its aspirations.

The trailer promises a fun ride with a mixture of emotions and melodrama, which reflects the entertainer of a full family. It shows Juneja in the title role offered while riding a horse. She plays the role of a chef named Heer from Punjab, known for her cooking skills.

Heer traveled to Britain under the mentorship of Ashutosh Rana, trying to take Indian cuisine abroad. Earlier, the teaser of the film showed a glimpse of Heer’s emotional journey as he is ready to fulfill his mother’s dream abroad. The trailer takes the story forward by revealing the obstacles faced by the hero.

The film also includes Pritas Kamni, Ashutosh Rana, Gulshan Grover, Sanjay Mishra and Meghna Malik. ‘Heer Express’ has been shot at various scenic places in the UK.

The manufacturers launched the trailer at a grand event. The entire star cast marked its appearance by sharing his journey with the shooting of ‘Heer Express’. The family-drama is directed by Umesh Shukla. He ‘Dhotete Rehj’ (2009), ‘Omg – Oh My God!’ (2012), ‘All Is Well’ (2015), ‘102 Not Out’ (2018) and ‘Anakh Micholi’ (2023).

Shukla’s ‘Omg-Oh My God!’ Won the award for the best customized script at the 60th National Film Awards. The film was also awarded the Best Hindi Film Award by the Institute for Research and Documentation in Social Sciences (IRDS) at Social Sciences at other IRDS Hindi Film Awards for social concern.

‘Heer Express’ in collaboration with Meera Go Round Studios and Creative Stroke Group at Tulip Entertainment. The film is co-produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Vag, Mohit Chhabra, Sanjay Grover and Sampada Wagh.

‘Heer Express’ is scheduled to release in theaters on August 8, 2025.
