Amid the massive success of his ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour, singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh celebrated Diwali by bursting crackers with friends at home and posting a video of his favorite hobby – cooking. Diljit shared the recipe of his Diwali special dinner on his Instagram handle. Any idea? This is a delicious vegetarian dish, Kadhai Paneer. Before cooking dinner, Diljeet shows off the diyas and rangoli decorations at his place. Next, he shows his kitchen slab filled with all the ingredients peeled and chopped for cooking.
To make his special Kadhai Paneer, the global singer takes a kadhai, adds chopped capsicum and onions, cooks for a while and then takes them off the flame. Next, he takes pieces of paneer, cooks these too and takes them out of the pan. Now add all the whole spices in it, fry it and remove it from the flame. Then he pours oil into the pan, followed by garlic and finely chopped onion. Next, he adds finely chopped tomatoes and cooks everything together.

The recipe may be elaborate but Diljit’s funny commentary makes it all simple and fun. He grinds whole spices and also makes paste of pre-cooked onions and tomatoes. Now, he adds the paste to the pan, followed by spices and roasted onions and capsicum. He covers it with a lid and finally adds the cheese. The dish is garnished with kasoori methi and coriander leaves.

After the Delhi concert, Diljit Dosanjh will perform in other places including Jaipur on November 3, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17 and Lucknow on November 22 before concluding in Guwahati on December 29.
