Before Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, there was instability due to frequent changes in leadership, former US President Donald Trump has said in a podcast titled ‘Flagrant’ with comedians Andrew Schultz and Akash Singh.
The former US President praised PM Modi and described him as the best person who can be strict when needed.
“Before him they used to change them (Indian prime ministers) every year, it was very unstable. He came, he is great, he is my friend. From the outside he looks like he is your father, he is the best. ..” Trump, who is seeking re-election as US President.
In the Flagrant Podcast, former US President Donald Trump has not only called Prime Minister Modi the best person but has also called him a complete murderer.

Trump also talked about the success of ‘Howdy Modi’ in Houston, Texas in 2019, when he was the US President.
He said, “They filled the stadium, it was beautiful, like 80,000 people, it was going crazy and we were walking around today… we were walking down the middle, waving to everybody.”
Trump also told how PM Modi had told him that India could deal with Islamabad after offering US support.
He said, “He is the nicest person but we had some occasions when someone was threatening India. I said let me help, I am very good with those people (Trump imitating PM Modi) ‘I will do it, I will do it, I will do it’ Trump said without naming Pakistan, ‘Anything. Necessary. We have defeated them for hundreds of years.
Trump also said that he has a very good relationship with PM Modi.
Trump talked about his relationship with PM Modi for about 37 minutes in the 88-minute long interview.
‘Howdy Modi’ was an Indian community event in Houston, Texas in 2019. The event at the NRG Stadium witnessed a huge turnout and showcased the ties between the two countries. PM Modi and Trump addressed the gathering.
Trump has already praised PM Modi and called him a ‘wonderful person’.
