Actor Saif Ali Khan, who recently visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi with his wife Kareena Kapoor and family, spoke openly about his conversation with the PM. The 54-year-old actor described the meeting as ‘special’ and shared that despite coming straight from Parliament, the PM was warm and attentive with the Kapoor family.

The Kapoor family met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and invited him to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival. The festival, which began on December 13, celebrated Raj Kapoor’s 100-year legacy on his 100th birth anniversary.

Talking about this meeting Saif said HT City“He arrived after a day in Parliament, so I was wondering if he would be tired. But he smiled warmly and was attentive and engaging with all of us!”

Sharing a glimpse of their conversation, Saif said, “He personally asked about my parents and said that he thought we would bring Taimur and Jahangir to meet them! He signed a paper for them. Did what Kareena had asked him to do.”

Saif said that the PM looked like he was working very hard. “It seemed to me that he was working very hard running the country and still taking time to connect on this level. I asked him how much rest he gets, and he said about three hours a night. It was a special day for me,” the Omkara actor said. “We thanked him for sparing his valuable time to see us and for giving so much respect to the family.”

Earlier, a video of the Kapoor family’s meeting with the PM was shared on social media. During the conversation, Modi told Saif Ali Khan about his meeting with his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. He also told them that he thought he would meet three generations of the Pataudi clan and ask them about Taimur and Jeh. Kareena told the PM that her son wanted to come.
