Lokesh Kanagarj recently hit a big screen with his film, Kool, starring Rajinikanth. As the film successfully runs in theaters, the director revealed that he wanted to work with only Anirudh Ravichandar for all his future films.

Reported by Cinema Express, Lokesh Kanagaraja was seen for an interaction at the SSVM Institute, where he spoke about cool and his upcoming projects. The director said, “In the future, I will not make a film without Anirudh. If he leaves the film industry, I will think of other options. I don’t need AI in my songs because I have Anirudh.”
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s comment shows that Kathy 2 will also have the music of Anirudh Ravichender. The first installment, Kathy portrayed the Soundtrack composed by Sam CS, who is known for his works in Vikram Veda and Pushpa 2.
At the same time, Anirudh criticized the recently starring Rajinikanth. The filmmaker insisted that he does not make cinema to fulfill the expectations of the audience, but if he fails to do so, he will try hard next time.
Lokesh said, “Look, I and everyone sitting here are only because of the audience sitting here. I can’t criticize his expectations. I never said that the film will be a time journey or LCU will be connected. However, I can’t even take his expectations about a Rajinikanth film or Lokesh film.”
“This is being said, I will never write a story to meet their expectations. If I fulfill their standards, it is good. If I do not fulfill it, I will work hard next time,” the director concluded.

Lokesh Kanagarj recently helped the Project Cool. The action thriller follows the story of Deva, who is a former daily wage worker, who is looking to take revenge after his best friend Rajsekar was killed.
As his journey moves forward, he closes the horns with a mafia kingpin called Simon Xavier, with which he shares a dark past. The lead role along with Rajinikanth, the film also includes Nagarjuna Akini, Upendra Rao, Shruti Haasan, Saubin Shahir, and even a cameo by Aamir Khan.
Looking forward, Lokesh is expected to complete a film with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan in Leeds before going to Kathy 2; However, an official confirmation is still pending. Additionally, the filmmaker is also ready to make his debut as a lead actor.
