James Gun on Wonder Woman’s casting

On Threads, DC Boss responded to questions about Wonder Woman’s casting. Gunn shared, “… we are not even WW casting, nor discussing it, until a script ends.” In addition, the director talked about the casting of Milli Alcock in Supergirl.

After leaving the first poster of the film, DCU co-head responded to a post, claiming that the actress was planted on the basis of her previous roles.

Gunn said, “No. And I will never look for a major role in a million years whether they have done TV, films, or whatever they have done. It is all about casting. I did not add to the reason for her past, but because she was the best for the role.”

He explained that Alcock was perfect to play the character and therefore was cast in the film.

One of the users asked whether Wonder Woman had a fast book in the studio, given the success of Superman. For this, the DC Head shared, “This is a priority, but I will not say that fast-track. Nothing is going to shoot until we are not as certain as we can be that the script is good.”

Speaking of Arjona’s casting, Gunn clarified that just because she follows the actress on Instagram, it does not mean that she got a role in her film.

The details about DC’s Wonder Woman will be rolled out soon.
