Harshita Gaur, who is preparing for Mirzapur Season 3, spoke exclusively to India Today.in and talked about shooting during her injury. The actor injured his knee while shooting for Season 2. However, despite being on bed rest, the actor shot the action scenes with utmost perfection.

Recalling that moment, the actor said, “I got a chance to do an action sequence in the second season. I was happy. But my knee got hurt so much that I was on bed rest for three months. I had to be on bed rest for three months, but in between I was shooting for that sequence in the second season. At first I kept refusing myself and kept saying that ‘Nothing has happened’ (Nothing happened). But, I knew I would lose the opportunity because, given my injury, they would probably delete my scene and I wanted to do action.

The actress, who plays Dimpy in the popular franchise, revealed how she shot the scene despite her illness and did not give up.

Harshita said, “You won’t believe that the day I had to shoot the scene, I had to reach the set at 6 am but I reached at 11 am because I had the worst diarrhea ever. And there was nothing in my body that I couldn’t even stand up. I was in my room and everyone was taking care of me. Later I decided to try it and at 11:30 I went out in the sun with just electrolyte in my stomach. I was dehydrated and I had to do action. During the action sequence, I got hurt because the person had to push my head towards the padding but unfortunately my head hit the tree.”

‘Mirzapur’ is one of the few Indian web shows that is loved by many. With ‘Mirzapur 3’, the makers aim to take the story to new heights. Starring a star cast including Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Verma, Pankaj Tripathi and others, the series will premiere on Prime Video on July 5.
