‘Harry Potter’ fans went down memory lane when Rupert Grint and Afshan Azad, who played Ron Weasley and Padma Patil respectively, met after 20 years. The two played each other’s dance partners in the fourth instalment of the film ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’.
Padma Patil (Afshan Azad) and Parvati Patil (Shefali Choudhry) were the only two Indian characters in the Harry Potter films. Their most prominent role was in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. Padma (Azad) played Ron’s dance partner during the Yule Ball scene. An indifferent Ron was upset with Hermoine (Emma Watson) dancing with Viktor Krum and didn’t ask Padma to the ball. Azad joked about the same in the caption of his new post.

Sharing a before and after picture with Grint, Azad wrote, “Padma and Ron reunited after 20+ years. Oh how becoming parents has changed us all. He still hasn’t asked me to dance.”
