Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav Kumar is celebrating his 22nd birthday today. Despite being the son of a famous personality from the industry, the star kid not only prefers to keep his personal life a secret but also has no interest in films. In an old interview, Khiladi Kumar had once revealed that his son wishes to pursue fashion designing.
During an event organised by Hindustan Times in 2022, Akshay Kumar shed light on how it is different in his house. He wanted to show and tell his son about his films; however, the star kid had no interest in it. He said, “I want to involve him in all this, but he doesn’t want to watch anything, he just wants to do his work. He wants to study or do fashion designing.”
The actor further said that there are two ways to get his kids interested in his work. He said, either keep it hidden or give it so much that they don’t want to do it.
Notably, last year too, while speaking to the publication, Akshay had spoken about his kids Nitara and Aarav’s reactions to his films. The actor revealed that his daughter is quite young, meanwhile his son always tells him that he is “proud” of him. Whenever he further asks how he felt about it, Akshay reveals his son’s extremely honest reaction, “‘Sorry but this is rubbish dad,'” revealing how honest his family has been with their reactions to his work.
Akshay is married to Twinkle Khanna. The couple had their first child, son Aarav, in 2002, while Nitara was born in 2012.
Talking about the work front, Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s film Singham Again. The film also stars actors like Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor in important roles. The film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2024.
Apart from this, the actor announced his association with Priyadarshan on his birthday i.e. September 9, 2024. The horror-comedy film is titled Bhoot Bangla. In the motion poster of the film, Akshay is seen drinking milk and carrying a black cat on his shoulders. Backed by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, the film is scheduled to release in 2025.
