Actor Akshay Kumar today wished director Priyadarshan on his 68th birthday. Both have re-joined their upcoming horror-comedy film, Bhut Bangla, after a long gap of 14 years. On a special occasion, Akshay shared a picture of the two on social media with a hearty note.

This is not the first time Akshay and Priyadarshan have collaborated On a project. Both have made some of the most liked films ever. They have worked together on hits like Bhagam Bhagwan, Bhool Bhulaiya, Da Dana Dan and more.

In addition to Akshay, There will also be a tabu in the film In an important role.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhoot Bungalow is produced by Shoba Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films. The film is co-produced by Fara Sheikh and Vedanta Bali. The story is written by Akash -e -Kaushik and The Script by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair and Priyadarshan. The dialogue belongs to Rohan Shankar.

Bhooth Bangla has been slated to release in theaters on 2 April 2026.
