Hanu-Man director Prashant Verma recalls ‘differences’ with Ranveer Singh
Telugu filmmaker Prashanth Varma said that he hopes to reunite with Ranveer Singh for another amazing project in the future. In a recent interview, he told that both keep talking about possible opportunities.

Telugu director Prashanth Varma opens up about not working with actor Ranveer Singh in a film. The two had announced a film together, after which the actor left the project due to ‘differences’. Now in an interview, Prashant told that he is still talking to Ranveer.
while talking to Hindustan Times, The filmmaker shared that he still hopes to work with the 83 star again. The director, who recently announced his next film ‘Mahakali’ on the occasion of Navratri, said everything is in the past now, and they both are looking forward to doing something in the future.
Prashant was quoted as saying, “Ranveer… we still talk to each other. It was just a difference of opinion between us, that’s all. So it’s fine.” Jathakaalu Kalavaledu (The stars didn’t align). We’ll work together someday.”
Earlier, the duo had issued a joint statement announcing that their film, titled Rakshas, is no longer being made. In the statement the actor described Prashant as a “very special talent”. He said, “Prashanth (Varma) is a very special talent. We met and brainstormed the idea of a film together. Hopefully, we will collaborate on something exciting in the future.”

He also talked about his second directorial in which he is launching famous Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna. Prashanth said that the decision to make this film, which is yet to be titled, was more ‘personal’ and was based on his relationship with the veteran actor.
The film is a part of his cinematic universe and is based on the story of a god. It is currently in pre-production and Mokshagna is preparing for a special role. The director said, “I had no other option because of the kind of relationship I have with Balakrishna garu. It’s more a personal decision than a professional one. I don’t mind doing it either because the story is exciting.”
The young filmmaker is also excited about Jai Hanuman, the sequel to his surprise hit Hanuman. Prashant said that after the success of Hanu-Mann, he understands his additional responsibility and he is going to give the audience a ‘good film’. The team is going to announce the star-cast of the film soon.
