Tiger Warning: Domestic misuse mentions in this article.
Hansika Motwani filed headlines after her former sister -in -law, television actress Maskan Nancy James, with her mother and brother, Arranmanai star Prashant Motwani on charges of domestic misconduct and other allegations.
Mascan was first married to Prashant, and the two were divorced in December 2022. Now, Hansika has moved to the Bombay High Court, trying to reduce the allegations against her.
Hansika’s petition stated that the FIR filed by her former sister -in -law was malicious and came after demanding a repayment of Rs 27 lakhs, which she gave loans for the wedding of Muskan and Prashant.
The actress found that the actress claimed that her money was used to pay the wedding planners, but she was never reimbursed.
He further argued that Mascan’s complaint for criminal prosecution was only an exaggerated account of the matrimonial dispute between Mascan and his brother, Prashant.
According to Times Now, Hansika’s petition stated, “The allegations against the petitioner are unfounded, motivated, and arise from domestic disputes that have become exaggerated to bring her under criminal prosecution.”
Hansika also clarified that her brother had no direct participation in marital issues and claimed that the complaint of Muskan Nancy James was filed for her pressure amid her full dispute.
