K-drama stars Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee are returning for the second season of Netflix’s ‘Gyeongseong Creature’. The makers recently released a teaser for it.

K-drama stars Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee are back with season 2 of the acclaimed creature-thriller Korean series Gyeongseong Creature. Set in present-day Seoul, the show is based on the theme of ‘karmic’ connections. The teaser of the show has been released and its release date is revealed to be September 27.
Written by Kang Eun-kyung ( Dr. Romantic, Kang Chi, The Beginning ) and directed by Chung Dong-yoon ( Hot Stove League ), Gyeongseong Creature stars Seo-joon ( Itaewon Class, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, The Marvels, Concrete Utopia fame) as Master Jang, while So-hee plays Yoon Chae-ok.
The teaser shows the characters travelling to Seoul 2024 and Tae-sang and Chae-ok’s intertwined fates take a dramatic turn. Time may have changed, but the threat of the creature still remains. Earlier, describing the new season as completely different, director Chung Dong-yoon said in a statement, “Season 2 presents a story with a completely different charm. The change in space and time period will provide a clear distinction, giving the feeling of an expanded universe.”
For those who don’t know, Season 1, releasing in December 2023, is set in early 1945, when Korea was under the colonial rule of Japan. It centers around two young adults who encounter dangerous creatures born of greed and have to fight to survive in the city of Gyeongseong – now known as Seoul.
