Gwen Stefani has just announced a new title for Dua Lipa and it’s the cutest thing ever. In an Instagram update, Stefani dubbed Dua the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’ while sharing a selfie from the iHeart Music Festival 2024.
The two posed together in chic monochrome outfits, with Stephanie wearing a white fringed dress and ponytail. Meanwhile, Lipa, 29, wore a Y2K-inspired black vest with a silver bralette underneath, paired with a black zip-up skirt. In a post on September 21, 2024, Stephanie showed her admiration for the Houdini singer and expressed how great she loves hanging out with the pop star. The two posed for the camera in three photos. In one of them, Lipa can be seen playfully kissing the 54-year-old icon.
“Got to spend time with the most beautiful girl in the world last night love you dude,” Stephanie wrote in her caption.
However, this is not the first time the two have met. They shared the screen during Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2020, when Dua Lipa was the guest host of the show. During the conversation at that time, Lipa jokingly referred to Blake Shelton as Stephanie’s husband, although they were not married at that time.
Lipa asked Stefani about her time spent with Shelton in quarantine on a farm in Oklahoma and referred to him as her husband. Gwen immediately responded, “He’s not my husband, but it was nice when you said that.” The two later had a hearty laugh about it.
Speaking about her musical journey, Stephanie told People magazine last year that she would never write music that “doesn’t fully reflect what’s going on in (her) life” and that she considers writing songs an honour. Stephanie’s post comes as she is set to coach again on The Voice, which is in its 26th season.
This time Gwen Stefani will be joined by other coaches Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé. Apart from this, she is also busy promoting her fifth studio album Bouquet, which will be released on November 15. This will be her first album release after a gap of seven years.
