TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary defended his wife Debina Bonnerjee from trolls who accused her of preferring her elder daughter Liana over her younger daughter Divyasha. The ‘Commander Karan Saxena’ actor said that it affects his wife, however, he advises her not to take the trolls seriously.

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary welcomed daughter Liana on April 3, 2022. The same year, on November 11, 2022, the couple welcomed their second daughter Divisha. Debina, who has now started vlogging on YouTube, is often accused of being biased towards children. Trolls say that she prefers her elder daughter over her younger child.

Gurmeet spoke about this during his interview with Siddharth Kannan. He said, “Debina definitely feels bad about this. How can people ever think that a mother would be biased towards one of her children?”

He added, “Only fools can think this way. Debina feels bad about this, but I tell her that these people are unemployed, they don’t think before posting on social media, and what they say should not affect our lives.” He further mentioned that while he takes criticism about his work seriously, he doesn’t pay attention to trolls.

For those who don’t know, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee were co-stars in ‘Ramayan’ (2008). They played Ram and Sita respectively. After dating for a while, the couple got married in 2011. After 11 years of marriage, they welcomed two daughters.
