Gunat Monga celebrated India with a modern touch in the Oscar 2025 through his burnal choice.

2023 Academy Award winning producer, whose short film Anuja The 2025 Oscar was nominated for the Best Short Film (Live Action), a custom-made Manish Malhotras dress in the biggest night of Hollywood. Her hand woven tissue outfit was a modern renovation of the saree.

Monga wore a coordinated brown set that included a corset, a matching saree-inspired draped skirt and a trench coat. The contingent of the artists had the Bejeweled button.

She styled Mocha Brown outfit with a pair of detailed stud earrings from Clutch and Manish Malhotra’s fine jewelery label. A set of ring and pointed golden bracelet further enhanced her look.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra also shared pictures of the filmmaker and celebrated Indian-people clothes and Indian contemporary sarees on the global stage.

When Gundate Monga attended the Academy Awards in 2023, she chose a traditional pink Banarasi saree that featured elephant motifs. This year, however, she brought the sari’s contemporary attraction to a global stage.
