Guinness World Records: Chef cuts most celery slices while blindfolded

Must read

Chopping vegetables is a culinary art that requires meticulousness and skill. Just one mistake and you end up cutting your finger. Social media star and former competitive bodybuilder Wallace Wong has mastered this skill. Wallace Wong, 33, has added 9 more Guinness World Records (GWR) titles to his name for his super-fast chopping skills, taking the total number to 11. One of his recent feats included chopping the most number of celery pieces while blindfolded. Yes, you heard that right. In a video shared by GWR on Instagram, the chef set a record for chopping 125 celery pieces in 30 seconds without looking.

According to the official website, out of his 11 GWR titles, Wallace Wong found attempting the record of slicing tomatoes blindfolded the most difficult. “When you cut the top or bottom or the middle, you can’t control how they fly, so that makes it even harder to make sure you don’t get disqualified on some of those cuts,” he said. However, this difficulty did not hinder his unique talent. Wallace set the record of slicing 9 tomatoes in one minute blindfolded. Watch the video here:
