Greta Gerwig reveals if she would make a ‘Kane’ movie
Director and writer Greta Gerwig recently talked about whether she would like to make a ‘Kane’ movie. Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’, released last year, broke several box office records.

Barbie director Greta Gerwig recently spoke about the possibility of a Kane movie. Speaking to 60 Minutes, the writer-director simply said, “I mean, the truth is, you know – I guess we’ll see.”
Since Gergwig hasn’t ruled out the possibility of such a film, it can be said that she is considering it. However, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation for now.
Gerwig had just released a huge blockbuster Barbie based on the Mattel doll, which was critically and commercially acclaimed. The film also featured the character of Ken, played by Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling.
In an earlier interview with Variety, Barbie star and producer Margot Robbie spoke about the Barbie sequel and said, “So I don’t know what it would take for her or for us to refill that cup. I think Warner would agree with that as well. I don’t know what else could happen. We want to make more movies that have the same impact as Barbie. I don’t know if it has to be Barbie 2. Why can’t it be another big, original, bold idea where we get the trust of an amazing filmmaker, a big budget to play with and a huge group behind them that can really play? I want to do that,” the actor signed off.
Barbie also starred Simu Liu, Emma Mackey, and Will Ferrell.
