There will be an understanding to describe resentment, the way the leaders in Greenland have felt about the planned visit of the United States, Usha Vance, the United States. In less than 24 hours since Washington’s announcement of a high-profile trip, there has been a serious criticism in the semi-late Danish region that Donald Trump has threatened anx for national security reasons.
The Prime Minister of Greenland and the interim government has decided to boycott the journey.

The US delegation will visit on Thursday, 27 March to Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Donald Trump on several occasions, reiterating his stance that the US aims to “buy Greenland”, almost suggests that there is no other option left. He has not denied the use of Washington’s force to achieve this goal.
President Trump has said that it is “necessary” to create this Greenland, which is known to be rich in mineral resources, citing national security reasons.
The outgoing Prime Minister of Greenland, Mute EDEE, has called the high-profile US visit “A Pro Koshan”, and said that he is not welcome to the country. He said that it would not be possible to stop the visit to the US military base due to the obligations of the treaty, but the interim government will not be found from the US delegation.
The Prime Minister of Greenland said, “Recently, we could trust Americans, who were our colleagues and friends, and with whom we enjoyed working very closely, but ended at that time.”
The Greenlandic government, Nalakakarsut, is currently in a caretaker phase, after the March 11 parliamentary election won by the Democrats, a pro -business party that is a supporting business party, in favor of a slow approach to Denmark to independence from Denmark.
Democrats leader Jens-Frederick Nielsen called for political unity and strongly criticized the time of the US delegation’s visit. Mr. Nielsen said, “We should not be forced into a power game, which we have not chosen to be a part of ourselves.”
Prior to her visit, the second woman Usha Vance shared a video through the American Consulate in Greenland, stating that her visit to Greenland is to “celebrate long history of mutual respect and cooperation among our nations”.

Amid growing flakes in Greenland, the White House stated that “it is a trip to know about Greenland, its culture, history and people and participate in a dog race, the United States is sponsored, plain and proud of simple.”
White House spokesman Brian Hughes said, “The purpose of this journey is to build on Greenland’s self -determination and economic cooperation.”
According to the Reuters of the news agency, for the preparation of the journey, Washington has already sent two American Hercules military transport aircraft, taking security personnel and bulletproof vehicles. Denmark has also sent dozens of police personnel to Greenland’s capital Duk to promote the security of the delegation.
The US National Security Advisor and Energy Secretary planned to visit the Space Base of the US in Pitfic, located along Europe to North America’s smallest route, and is important for ballistic missile warning systems.
Danish Prime Minister Metet Fredericseen said that the top American delegation announced a visit “something that we take very seriously”. He said that on matters of “Fundamental Rules of Sovereignty”, Denmark hopes that the United States will respect Copenhagen and the Government of Greenland.
