The official launch of SSMB 29, the much-awaited collaboration between director SS Rajamouli and Ilugu superstar Mahesh Babu, is reportedly scheduled for January 2, 2025. According to reports, the event will be held at the Aluminum Factory in Hyderabad.

Film launch events featuring such a stellar cast are always a treat for fans, and with Rajamouli at the helm, they can expect a press conference revealing the story, cast and other key details. Although there are rumors that the film may be titled Garuda, an official confirmation is yet to come.

Produced by KL Narayan under the Durga Arts banner, the film will be based on a globe-trotting adventure, with most of the narrative set in the Amazon rainforest. Veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad, who spent two years developing the script, teased that the film will introduce an unprecedented cinematic universe.

The film will feature music by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani and an ensemble cast including international actors. While Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran are rumored to be part of the cast, an official announcement is expected after the launch ceremony.
