On being a part of Bhagam Part 2, Govinda said, no one has contacted me
Govinda recently clarified that the makers of Bhagam Part 2 have not approached him for the sequel. The actor shared that his decision to lead a comedy will depend on the script and remuneration.
Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal’s film Bhagam Bhaag is making waves on social media. With work on the sequel starting, fans are excited to see the comedy on screen after 18 years. While fans are speculating on whether the trio will be back in the sequel, Govinda recently shared an update, revealing that no one has approached him for the film.

He said, “No one has approached me for Bhaagam Part 2, or sat down for discussions. There are stories that I am doing not just Bhaagam Part 2, but many other sequels as well.” Including partner.”
When asked if he would like to be a part of it, the actor revealed that his decision will depend on various factors. “I know sequels are popular today, but one should not go on assumptions, suggestions and popularity. If I do a project, I must discuss it in its entirety – from remuneration to the script, my character and the director,” he said.
Earlier, amidst all the speculations, the makers had confirmed that they are making Bhaagam Part 2 and the film is currently in the scripting stage.
The sequel rights were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who is also working on the script of the film. She will produce this film along with Shemaroo.
As revealed by the film’s team, Saritha agrees that she has taken a lot of time to design the sequel, but it is finally coming out. He said, “Since a film as special as Bhagam Bhaag deserves a sequel, which is equally special when the time is right, we decided to go ahead.”
The makers also ensured that Bhaagam Part 2 is going to be ‘fun, crazy and fun’. The film is expected to go on floors in mid-2025.
